Equipment performance reliability is foremost in the telecommunications and security sectors. Often the equipment is housed inside enclosures and panels exposed to harsh outdoor environments or in secluded locations. Heat builds up inside these enclosures and needs to be removed effectively. Heat build-up can cause intermittent or complete equipment failures. Also, if batteries are inside the enclosure, the excess heat may compromise the battery’s life .

This is achieved by sealing the unit so no contaminants get into the enclosure and by removing waste heat sing a heat pipe core. The heat pipes move the heat from inside the cabinet out into the ambient nvironment. Noren’s air-to-air heat exchangers can reduce the inside temperature to just above ambient.
