Thermal Switch
All HyTec Oil Coolers can be installed to run 24 hours a day to keep oil temperatures low; or you may want to have them controlled to run only when oil temperatures elevate above acceptable norms. If your system does not already have a controller that can be adapted to turn the coolers ON when oil temperature rises, and OFF when it cools down, we offer a simple, versatile, easily installed Thermal Control Switch. The HyTec Thermal Control Switch Assembly installs in minutes directly into the oil reservoir. As shown below you simply insert the 29” long sensor tube into the oil reservoir where it will get the most accurate reading of oil temperatures as they start to rise. Wire the switch into one power lead of the HyTec Cooler Fan Assembly set the control temperature and from then on the controller is automatic.
