- About two years ago we were experiencing high oil temperatures on a hydraulic elevator located in St. Louis. The oil temperature was 160 F and the car was regularly shutting down on thermal overload. After installing the Noren HyTec Cooler the oil temp on this elevator never exceeds 105 F. Another hydraulic elevator in Salt Lake was running at 157 F and after installing the Noren HyTec Cooler the max temperature was 107 F. Needless to say, when we have oil problems we install a Noren Products HyTec Cooler, they are easy to install and they work!
